Board of Ed Mentoring Program in Need of Male Mentors

January 28, 2016

The Bristol Board of Education Mentoring Program has a critical need for male mentors for students in all grade levels. It’s a chance to positively influence the lives of our youth forever. It’s only a one hour per week commitment during the school day, and requires no special skills or financial obligation.

Jeanine at the Board of Ed tell us, “We cannot assume all young people have an adult who can provide them with good advice. Research shows that mentoring is the most effective program in helping our youth succeed and choose a better path in life,” she starts. “Mentors are important. Mentoring allows part of us to be woven into the fabric of our community by giving the best parts of ourselves to those around us, by serving as a role model, guide, and friend.”

We couldn’t have said it better, except we’ll add a part about your being able to proudly carry the All Heart flag — displaying your passion through productive and life-lasting results. Give it a shot. It’s sure to make you feel great, and provides an incredible relationship for our youth who would appreciate the guidance.
