The Central CT Chambers of Commerce Hires Christine Mola

April 29, 2016

“The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce is excited to announce that Christine Mola has been hired as the Executive Director of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Affiliate Support. The Bristol Chamber of Commerce is one of seven affiliated Chambers that make up the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce.

Each element of experience and knowledge gained throughout Christine’s career journey has led to this ultimate opportunity to circle back to her hometown of Bristol CT, where she is excited to serve the community and businesses while focusing on revitalizing the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and assisting the Bristol Economical & Development Authority in maintaining a cohesive relationship between Bristol and the businesses and industries they call home.Screen_Shot_2016-04-29_at_10.29.12_AM.png

“I am thrilled to join the Chamber team and help with the growth and revitalization of the Bristol Chamber. I look at this as an opportunity to promote Bristol businesses and encourage local business owners and employees to get more involved in the Chamber.” Christine said.,

Christine’s not for profit and community interests began early on in the 90’s as she volunteered and participated in not-for- profit meeting and special event planning teams for organizations such as The Bristol Hospital Auxiliary and the Greater Hartford Autism Society. During that period, Christine developed her professional career in the Connecticut Advertising and Marketing Industry working for a local Hartford Radio Cluster as an Account Sales Representative working her way to the position as Advertising Manager for a Litchfield County newspaper group. She took this professional corporate experience and melded it with her innate abilities to sell, plan, and create amazing events and took off on a journey where she was proud to be successful in the positions of Catering Sales Manager, Director of Catering & Events, and Director of Banquet Operations for elite banquet facilities and clubs in the Hartford and surrounding markets. Many tremendous relationships, and friendships, were created within CT Food & Beverage/Events industry, and beyond. Christine serves on the Board of Directors for the Farmington Valley Visitors Association, since 2013, and co-chairs the Events Committee, while participating in several additional FVVA committees. She also had affiliations and participated in events/committees with several Chambers of Commerce, to include Northwest, Avon, and Farmington.

Cindy Scoville, President & CEO of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce stated, “Christine is a great addition to the Chamber staff and brings a lot of energy to the role of Executive Director. She is already implementing strategies to engage members and we look forward to the progress she will make in the coming months and years.”
