Ryan Bailey, a Bristol local, took to Bristol Talks on Tuesday, June 21st to share a feel good story he heard on Country 92.5, IHeartRADIO. He shared with Bristol All Heart that he “just wanted to share some positivity over all the negative stuff that hits that page,” and it worked. Over 470 people “liked” his post, in addition to everyone who heard the story live on Country 92.5. Here is the story:
A woman was heading to surprise her daughter with flowers for her birthday. Unexpectedly, when she took a hard right turn, the vase and flowers spilled everywhere. Flustered, the woman pulled over to clean up the mess. Officer in car #105 went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. After she said she was ok, he continued to help calm her down and help clean up the mess. Not only did the flowers look good as new but also, the officer told the woman to tell her daughter happy birthday and to have a great day! Thank you Ryan Bailey for sharing the story through social media, thank you to the woman for sharing her story with 92.5, and thank you to the officer in car #105 for ensuring the safety of the woman and making her day! It is the little things that not only can change the way someone’s day is going but also, make Bristol great. Let’s all strive to be like police car #105 by going out of our way to make sure others are ok. A simple smile goes a long way.
