2016 Mum Festival Thursday & Friday Headliners Announced

Rich Theriault Jazz Ensemble to Headline the 2016 Mum Festival Opening Night

unnamed_1The 2016 Mum Festival will not be the only thing in full swing on Thursday, September 22nd at the Memorial Boulevard School grounds. The Rich Theriault Jazz Ensemble will fill the night with the sounds of smooth jazz by artists such as Count Basie, Carlos Jobim and Duke Ellington. Great American Songbook classics and artists including , Irving Berlin and Cole Porter, performed by Vocalists Blaise Tramazzo and Catie Calo. The six piece ensemble features Rich Theriault on alto and soprano saxophones, Greg Hahn on Trumpet , Jim Santucci on Piano, Gene Bartley on Trombone, Donn Doucette on Bass and Ben Biello on drums. The performance begins at 7:00pm.

The performance is sponsored by the Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble, the Bristol Chorale and the 2016 Mum Festival Committee.

Come out for what promises to be a wonderful night of beautiful music, fun and community spirit under the stars on Memorial Boulevard at the 2016 Mum Festival. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at Bristol Central High School.

Rock Radio Headlines at the Mum Festival’s Friday Night Events

unnamedTurn up the Radio, WROC, Rock Radio will bring you back to the time when MTV was playing on every television, when it was cool to crank up the music, to let your hair down, and party!!!

Rock Radio is an 80’s and Classic Rock Band, covering music by Autograph, Billy Idol, Billy Squire, Bon Jovi, Journey, Kiss, Queen, Van Halen, Whitesnake and more.
