An Annual Bristol Tradition Since 1962

Featuring a Saturday festival activities and a Sunday classic parade, this bringing together of activities truly demonstrates that people can gather together to produce an event of which the City of Bristol can be proud of. In 1962, then known as the Fall Festival, this annual tradition was started by a group of community members. The following year 1963, the Chrysanthemum was incorporated into the name and it became the Bristol Chrysanthemum Festival. Today this annual Bristol tradition, produced by the Bristol Exchange Club in partnership with the City of Bristol, accents the arts, theater, music, dance, and athletics.

The Mum Festival Committee, an all volunteer group, is always looking for new volunteers and young faces. You are welcome to join our meetings which are a great way to make new friends while supporting your community. Please see our website for dates and times and for more information.
