One of the leaders in the arts scene in Bristol and one of its treasures is The Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble.  The award winning group was established in 1996 and is made up of volunteer musicians who enjoy performing the music of Sousa, Broadway and much more.  Rich Theriault is the music director of the Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble. Rich is a former Director of Bands at Bristol Eastern High School in and former Commander and Musical Director of the 102nd Army National Guard Band.  He was also elected in 2001 as the Connecticut representative for “50 directors who make a difference” for School Band and Orchestra Magazine.  Learn more on their website at  http://www.bbandwe.org.
