Entrepreneur Jeff Matthews came to the City of Bristol for assistance when he decided to turn his hobby of making Texas-style BBQ into a business. . . and now business is sizzling at Heavenly Smoke BBQ.

 

April Tibbitts, owner of Family Roots Produce Market, had a fresh idea for a market and came to the City of Bristol for assistance to bring her idea to fruition.

 

After collaborating and obtaining orders from other Bristol small businesses Eric and Carolyn Verikas, owners of Dusty Dude Woodworks, have been able to transition from doing business out of their garage, to a rented space, and are now crafting plans to open a retail store in the future.

Women-owned business, New Beginnings Family Services and Early Learning Center, worked with the City of Bristol to open their early learning center in an existing location.

 

Bakery On Maple found its sweet spot in Bristol, Connecticut. This successful new Bristol business was launched with the assistance of the StartUP Task Force.
