The vision is simple at Bristol Technical Education Center (BTECH), providing an exciting hands-on path to a diverse student population through a safe environment that promotes community interaction and student learning from culinary to manufacturing, that’s engaging and prepares them for business and industry as entry level professionals. Bristol TEC is a small school, with 170 students in grades eleven through post-graduate; it is surrounded by forest and industrial buildings in the hills of western Bristol. Students come here from 27 towns to learn a trade, take academic classes and become a part of a family-like community and unlike our other technical high schools, students remain a part of their sending schools and can participate each day in sporting events or musical groups. If attending BTEC senior year, students will receive a diploma from their sending school and still participate in our year end Certificate Ceremony. We have the best of both worlds – it doesn’t get any better than this!
