Help the American Clock & Watch Museum celebrate the 70th anniversary of our opening! On April 10, 1954, the museum opened its doors to the public as the first institution in the nation dedicated to horology. During the week of April 10 – 14, 2024, the museum has planned a variety of activities, and all are welcome.

  • 10am Drop-in story time and craft
  • 1pm-3pm: Clock ID Day ($10 per clock, maximum of 3)

Sunday, April 14, 2024

  • 10am – 5pm Free museum admission for everyone!
  • 12:00 – 2:00: Talk with a clock repairer in our clock shop
  • Post Clock selfie station

All weekend long

  • Enjoy special video programs on the founding of the American Clock & Watch Museum, Seth Thomas, the history of our Seth Thomas Post Clock, and more!
  • Take part in a special Seth Thomas-themed scavenger hunt
