Arlington National Cemetery: Its History

November 9 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Event Navigation

Join us for a fascinating trip back in history to one of America’s most famous sites!

Before becoming Arlington National Cemetery, this beautiful spot on the Potomac had a very interesting history entwined with the early history of the Virginia settlement and some of Virginia’s first families including the Custis’s, Lees and Washingtons. Author Cynthia Parzych will present the backstory of this iconic spot and highlight some of the stories of the interesting people who lived and were buried there. Parzych’s talk is based on her book (pictured above). This program is presented online via Zoom. We will email you 30-40 minutes before the program begins with the Zoom link. Need help with Zoom?
