Originally from England, Carol Jaspersohn’s interest in art began in childhood and she started painting as a young girl in London. Now residing in Bristol, Carol continues to be inspired by the natural beauty in the greater Bristol area. Painting exclusively in acrylics as they are well suited to her spontaneity, subjects range from animals to old English pubs and florals. As a lifetime painter, her sister likes to say “She was born with a paint brush in her hand.” Happiest when she is painting, Carol is passionate about her work and finds it therapeutic.
Carol is showing approximately 80 of her most recent paintings with sizes ranging from 16 x 20 to 36 x 48. This “Art in the Park” exhibit is in the park on Jennings Road in Bristol, behind the old John J. Jennings school – now apartment complex.
