The Bristol Chorale will present “Love & Joy” on Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 pm at Bristol Central High School.

The Chorale is led by Musical Director Andrew Skinner and Associate Director Roberta Verbyla; and accompanied by Jane Theriault. Ms. Verbyla also serves as assistant accompanist.

The Chorale’s upcoming performance features a diverse and festive program, anchored by the lively and heartwarming title piece Here We Come A-Wassailing, from which “Love and Joy” is drawn. Audiences will be treated to an eclectic mix of seasonal music, including Edward Elgar’s poignant The Snow, a collaboration with his wife Alice, as well as stirring spirituals like Rise Up Shepherd and Follow. Holiday classics will fill the air, alongside the traditional Hanukkah prayer Hanerot Halalu, sung in Hebrew, offering a rich celebration of cultural and musical traditions that capture the spirit of the season.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under, and are available now at Michael’s Jewelers or by visiting the Chorale’s website at bristolchorale.org. Tickets may also be purchased on Monday evenings at Faith Lutheran Church on Stafford Avenue prior to the Chorale rehearsal between 6:00 and 6:45 pm.
