Manross Memorial Library and Bristol Public Library are proud to present a new veteran-friendly program: A chance to meet author and Marine RECON veteran Craig Grossi and Fred the Dog rescued by Craig in Afghanistan. All ages are welcome! Local veterans from the Forestville American Legion Post 209 will also be on-hand to share some of their own experiences. Followed by Q & A and book signing. Craig has both adult and young reader’s editions of his story with Fred! The program will be held Thursday March 12 @ 4:00 PM at Manross Memorial Library, 260 Central Street, in Forestville. For earlier in the day, the Bristol Public Library Children’s Staff has put together a “Day with the Dogs” drop-in program for kids and families. The program consists of story times, crafts, giveaways, photo opportunities with Clifford the Big Red Dog and more family friendly activities.
