First Congregational Church in Bristol is sponsoring a Festival of Incredible Edible Creations to benefit the St. Vincent DePaul shelter. Individuals and organizations are invited to make a winter scene out of edible items to exhibit. Those wishing to enter an edible creation should visit the event site for an application. Applications are due by Wednesday, November 16th and there is no entrance fee. Entries of Incredible Edible Creations need to be delivered and set up on Friday, December 2nd from 6-8pm or Saturday, December 3rd from 9am-10am. Maximum Size 24” x 24”

Visitors are invited to view and vote on the edible creations which will be displayed on Saturday, December 3rd from 10am to 3pm in FCC’s Auditorium (second floor). Voting takes place through monetary donations for the most favorite displays. All of the money donated will be used to support St. Vincent DePaul’s winter overflow program, located in the white house on FCC’s property. St. Vincent DePaul is an emergency shelter in Bristol for men, women, and children providing food, shelter, case management, and referral services. Two prizes will be awarded for the displays, The Judge’s prize and The People’s Choice award, which will be determined by the most donations raised for that display.

Individuals and Organization representatives do not need to stay with their display throughout the festival. The People’s Choice Award and Judge’s Award will be announced at 2:45pm on Saturday, December 3rd.
