Explore the geological formations at the Barnes Nature Center with Troy Schinkel, Instructor of Earth and Environmental Science at Central Connecticut State University and currently part of the Master Naturalist Program at Goodwin Forest.
Participants will hike and explore the hidden glacial features around the trails of the Barnes Nature Center. We’ll see an esker and a kettle hole and compare glacial sediments to river sediments. Suitable for Adults.
$8 for members, $10 for non-members, payment can be made in the Visitor’s Center before the program begins on the scheduled date.
