Presented by Tom Dickau, Bristol Historian….First in a series of multi-media presentations utilizing hundreds of Bristol/Forestville images, many never seen before. The Moulthrop collection includes negatives, glass slides and other artifacts. Learn how Moulthrop became the community’s premier photographer, capturing its visual history from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. An innovator in the photographic field, he was one of the first to utilize time lapse and mirror reflection techniques. Moulthrop’s life story; his impact on early auto construction and local doorbell production; and his relationship with President Theodore Roosevelt will be discussed.
