Children are encouraged to come dressed as farmers, and be prepared to fill their senses with the smell, taste, touch, and sounds of the harvest season. Join us in celebration of autumn and meet farm animals from the Southington Regional Agriculture Program, including rabbits, chickens, cows, and a pony. Learn what the animals eat and how to care for them. We will explore a wide variety of hands-on activities both indoors and outdoors, including scarecrow building, pumpkin and gourd dissection, and “Chrysanthepom” making with the Bristol Garden Club. We’ll have live music from the CT Bristol Old Time Fiddlers from 10-11am. All activities are included with museum admission. Children under one and members are free.
