This presentation will discuss the many ways COVID-19 has affected Senior Living Communities. We will discuss the changes that have taken place in all areas of Senior Living including: dining, activities, visitation, and transportation. We will also discuss the social and physical impacts that have occurred, and where we are now as we continue to navigate through COVID-19.
Liz Cornish is a physical therapist and Certified Dementia Care Specialist with more than 30 years’ experience working in senior living communities throughout Connecticut. She continues to work as a homecare physical therapist in the Farmington Valley. Liz’s extensive experience and knowledge of area resources make her an invaluable asset for seniors and their families looking for guidance in obtaining the best care as they age. She understands the numerous and varied challenges that arise when seniors need help during the aging process.
