The Bristol Exchange Club and the Mum Festival Committee, have announced the first in a series of “Fun-raisers,” – an online Virtual Auto Show Photo contest. The contest, which begins online on July 22nd and runs until September 16th, is an effort to keep the Bristol’s fall marquee community-focused annual event for almost 6o years going in the years to come.
Mum Festival is looking for car and truck enthusiasts to enter the virtual auto show photo contest to show off a prized car or truck to a wider audience that may not have been reached before. The community will have the opportunity to view the entered autos and vote for their favorites. Winning entries will be announced at the end of the contest on September 16th. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
To support this contest go to http://www.gogophotocontest.com/bristolmumfestival to either enter a prized car or truck or to vote for your favorite entry.
While the Traditional Mum Festival, which includes the carnival and parade, has been postponed this year, the Mum Festival Committee is still looking into ways to have a much smaller presence this year. The Committee will be looking to announce more about these plans.
As we come together to make the best of our circumstances, we are thinking outside of the box to bring you this “FUN-Raising” event. Mum Festival is adjusting to a “new normal” and we need your support to solidify the future of our festival. It’s only $5 to enter and only and $1 to vote! Help us today so that we can come back stronger in 2021.
