This year marks the 200th birthday of Frederick Law Olmsted (1822-1903), considered the father of American landscape architecture. Christopher Wigren of Preservation Connecticut will talk about the Olmsted firm’s work in Connecticut and how Frederick Law Olmsted’s upbringing, education, and connections in the state shaped his subsequent career.
