Pequabuck River Duck Race

May 7 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

Event Navigation

On Sunday, May 7th, 2017, 5,000 numbered rubber ducks will be dumped into the Pequabuck River as spectators watch them race to be one of the first ducks to cross the finish line, earning prizes for the ticket holder with the corresponding number. This all day event is more than just a duck race, it’s a family fun filled extravaganza.

Tickets are sold throughout the Bristol community for $5 each with all proceeds split between the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Forestville Village Association for beautification projects throughout the city.

A portion of Central Street is closed in Forestville and vendors line both sides of the street promoting their goods. The day will kick off at 10 a.m. with the opening of the craft fair where vendors will be offering handmade goods. The Block Party, which starts at 11 a.m., will include food vendors, local businesses, shopping, face painting, balloons and much more. There will be bounce houses and free children’s games with prizes!

Tickets for these little guys are officially on sale all around Bristol. Get yours today before they sell out! Tickets are $5 each with each ticket getting you a chance to earn some great prizes including a top prize of $1,500, second prize of $1,000, third prize of an XBox one plus tons more! Buy tickets at the Chamber (200 Main Street) or you can buy them throughout town. City True Value Hardware, Sassu Cuts, Sylvanna’s, Nuchies and many other businesses will be selling them.
