It’s our annual spring Plant Swap at Manross Library! Bring your extra perennials, herbs and vegetable plantlets. Swap your plants for something new. We will also swap houseplants! Please label each plant with basic information. If you wish, bring a plant suitable for our new Certified Monarch Butterfly Way Station. (Plant list below.) Books about gardening & other information will be available. Drop-In. No fee to participate. Made possible by a FRIENDS of the Bristol Public Library Sponsorship.
Certified Monarch Butterfly Way Station Plant List:
Perennials: Aster, Butterfly Weed, Candytuft, Chrysanthemum, Common Milkweed, Echinacea (Coneflower), Goldenrod, Joe-Pye Weed, Lantana, Liatris, Mexican Sunflower, Pincushion Flower, Pinks (Sweet William), Purple Milkweed, Salvia, Sedum Autumn Joy, Wild Blue Indigo and Yarrow
Herbs: Bee Balm, Borage, Dill, Fennel, Nasturtium, Parsley and Sage
