Downtown Live at Rockwell Theater presents Christmas with the Nashville KING, starring John Beardsley on Saturday, December 16^th, 2023 at 7 PM (Doors open at 6 PM)! Join Bristol’s own, John Beardsley, as he returns home to celebrate Elvis’ Christmas music at Downtown Live at the Rockwell Theater, the first stage John ever performed on! Enjoy an evening with the Nashville KING, as he performs some of Elvis’ favorite and most famous Christmas songs, along with some of Elvis’ most popular songs.

Elvis’ love of Christmas music and the holiday is legendary. Along with the music, John will share interesting stories and the history behind this part of Elvis’ career. In Nashville’s longest running musical for 20 years, John, as The Nashville KING, has performed his musical biography of Elvis’ career over 1,150 times with a standing ovation at every show, you wont want to miss this!

Downtown Live features an ongoing array of curated live entertainment from musical and dance performances, to comedy shows, education and lecture series, children’s series, and more. Interested community members and guests are able to purchase tickets online at www.bristolrec.com and pick a seat of their choice through a newly implemented ticketing platform. Current scheduled powerhouse shows include Celebrating Queen (Sept. 9), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Oct. 28), Scenes- A Billy Joel Experience (Nov. 18) and Christmas with the Nashville King, Starring John Beardsley (Dec. 16)!

Tickets for the Downtown Live events range in price from $15 to $40 a person depending on the show. Tickets for all Downtown Live performances are available at www.bristolrec.com.
