Shinrin Yoku is a gentle, guided walk that supports well-being through sensory immersion in forests and other naturally healing environments. Shinrin Yoku is a term that means “taking in the forest atmosphere” or “forest bathing.” It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine.
This session is open to adults and space is limited to 10. Please dress for the weather, as this is a rain or shine program, and bring something to sit upon. Call ELCCT at (860) 583-1234 to register by June 28th.
