St. Stanislaus Parish will hold its annual Polish Festival “Dozynki” on September 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 10th from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
There will be rides and games for the children, live Polka bands, home-made Polish food: pierogi, golabki, kielbasa and kapusta, potato pancakes, babka bread, pastries, as well as a variety of American food. The festival is free and open to the public.
In addition, there will be crafters and raffles and a giant tag sale. Sunday mass at 10:30 will feature the Polonia Paderewski Choir followed by a concert.
Live Polish Music will be ongoing each day: Saturday from 4-9 will be Joe Milardo & The Musical Cavaliers. At 6:00 pm Saturday the Polish Folk Dancers “Orleta” will perform. 8:30 p.m. will be the singing of Polish Folk and Religious songs led by the “Divine Sound” Group.
Sunday music will be: 11:30-3:30 pm – Rytm Orchestra; 2:00 pm are the Polish Folk Dancers “Piast”; and 4:00 – 700 pm will be Goldies Oldies with DJ Al Goodwin.
