The final spring session of the Youth Cabinet will take place at the Bristol Fire department on North Main Street, where Youth Cabinet members will meet members of Tower 1 and Engine 1 Crews, see all the equipment that is used in fire prevention, and more!
Those interested in attending should meet in the Mayor’s office at 5:45pm to walk over to the North Main St fire department. Parents can pick up back at City Hall, outside of Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall, at 6:45pm.
Bristol young people, ages 10-18, are invited to be part of the Mayor’s Youth Cabinet. The purpose is to connect young people with their government and also allow them to have input on issues that affect them. The meetings will be held each month before the City Council meeting. There will be different topics each month, and some guest speakers. The meetings will be 45 minutes in length, and members can opt to stay for a part of the City Council meeting which begins at 7 pm. This is not a series. Young people are free to attend any or all as their schedules allow.
