Immanuel Lutheran Church

Reaching out in love to those not yet united with Christ.

Immanuel Lutheran Church & School is “renown for its long history and community-minded spirit.” The church was founded in 1892 as the first German Lutheran Church for German immigrants living in Bristol. Lutheran beliefs mean following Martin Luther’s bible based ideas, which can be summarized as “Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.” Sunday Worship Services are held at 8am and 10:45am. Summer Worship Service is held from the first Sunday in June through the last Sunday in August at 9am followed by bible study with Pastor Karner at 10:30 am. Empowered by Christ, Immanuel Lutheran’s mission is to “reach out in love to those who have not yet responded to the Gospel that all may be united in Christ.” With over 1,300 baptized members in 1925, there is always room for more at this passionate Christian Church.
